Today for Hurumanu 3 we had to made a document about Galileo and who he is and what he invented.

Galileo was a Italian natural philosopher, astronomer and mathematician, and discovered and invented things.

Italy, Pisa


What was Galileo famous for?

Galileo was famous because he was the first person to see craters on Jupiter.

Craters and mountains on the Moon

The stars of the Milky Way

The first pendulum clock.

 

Was Galileo ever punished for his ideas?

Yes he got punished for saying that the earth is not flat.
